Midwest Hockey League To Hold League Meetings

The MidWest Hockey League will be conducting its Summer League Meetings June 27-28 in Evansville Indiana. Representatives from the Evansville IceMen, Motor City Gamblers, Rage Hockey LLC, Louisville Chill and two other yet to be named teams will be in attendance.

Among the topics slated to be discussed over the weekend are the 2008-2009 schedule, league rules, travel arrangements, league wide sponsorships, equipment deals, websites and league-wide tryouts.

One other thing being discussed is the process of releasing information from the league and its teams.

The MWHL is also conducting a first during these meetings. The League is inviting any other teams interested in joining the league, or parties interested in owning a team in the MWHL to join us at the meetings. At that time, all questions and queries will be answered and it will be possible for teams to join the league on the spot, after Board of Director approval. The league has several turnkey operations in place, but will not announce teams until ownership is in place.
